Under the framework of the Tara Conservation Management Plan and specifically addressing Action 01.A1, the National Monuments Service (NMS) of the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage and the Office of Public Works (OPW) wish to engage expert services to assist in development of a heritage landscape management strategy for the national monument. The contract deliverable will be a Heritage Landscape Management Strategy to support a framework for future care and maintenance of the State-owned lands at the Hill of Tara, supporting the protection of the upstanding and sub-surface archaeological monuments and features within the site and the enhancement of the biodiversity/natural heritage at Tara.
