*It is not necessary to submit a proposal; at this stage, only a confirmation of interest in the project is required.* Limerick City and County Council (LCCC) gives notice of its intention to award a single integrated contract for the design and construction of Toppins Field Phase 1. The contract is proposed to comprise 57 homes, consisting of 34 affordable purchase homes and 23 social homes; the East-West Arterial Link Street; Phase 1 site-development and enabling works; and associated drainage, utilities, SuDS, nature-based drainage, landscaping, public realm, lighting, access, and pedestrian and cycle infrastructure. LCCC currently intends to procure the works using a project-specific, two-stage restricted procedure. Stage 1 will involve the selection of suitably qualified candidates through a Suitability Assessment Questionnaire / Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (SAQ/PQQ), with shortlisted candidates subsequently invited to tender at Stage 2. The proposed contract form is the Public Works Contract for Building Works Designed by the Contractor (PW-CF2). The contract is not proposed to be divided into lots and separate variant tenders are not proposed to be accepted. LCCC currently intends to publish the Stage 1 Contract Notice on 2 November 2026. The current indicative construction value is roughly €20-€25 million excluding VAT; this remains subject to confirmation for publication.
