The Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation, through the Office of Government Procurement (OGP), is conducting a Preliminary Market Consultation (PMC) in relation to the Renewal of Existing Microsoft Solutions and Associated Microsoft Licensing Services. This information gathering exercise forms part of the OGP's strategy to inform the establishment of a central procurement arrangement for public sector bodies that have independently made their Microsoft technology decisions and entered into Microsoft agreements for the provision of Microsoft solutions prior to any use of the proposed central procurement arrangement. The purpose of the arrangement is to support the renewal of these existing Microsoft agreements and solutions. As part of this process, the OGP wishes to gather market intelligence on supplier capabilities, cost drivers and broader market dynamics. The objective is to establish a fit-for-purpose, whole-of-government central procurement arrangement for the Renewal of Existing Microsoft Solutions and Associated Microsoft Licensing Services for the period 2027 to 2031. Respondents should note that this is solely a request for information and does not constitute a competition, procurement process, or commitment by the OGP to initiate any procurement procedure.
