- The Contracting Entity intends to procure a multi-party Framework Agreement for the provision of metering works in the Republic of Ireland. It is proposed that works to be procured under the framework will include, but may be not limited to the following; 1)the provision of an end-to-end meter exchange service to ESB, to include but not limited to deployment planning and mobilisation, customer engagement, customer contact and appointment scheduling, stakeholder management and material logistics management through to meter exchange and commissioning of same; 2) the provision of meter reading services to include, but not limited to obtaining actual reads from a meter site, customer engagement and stakeholder management; 3) the provision of an end-to-end service for meter site inspections which may include, but is not limited to a comprehensive physical inspection for an installed smart meter; 4) the provision of meter sampling services, which may include, but is not limited to the removal and replacement of smart meters (including bagging and tagging and ship to a required testing facility); 5) the provision of reactive maintenance services which may include, but is not limited to, standard smart meter exchanges, priority replacement of meters for root cause analysis, remedying of meter communication issues and detailed investigations of specific meter points. Economic Operators who wish to participate in this Prequalification Questionnaire process should submit a response as set out in section A.3 of the attached document. At the date of issuing this PQQ it is envisaged that the duration of Framework Agreement will be two (2) years with an option to extend, at the Contracting Entity's discretion. Please note framework extension may be issued in yearly increments or any other duration up to six (6) years as required by the Contracting Entity.
