- It is proposed that the Framework Agreement will include (non-exhaustive list – high level scope): • Fish Feeding • Fish Stripping • Egg/Alevin Picking • Fin clipping/Tagging • Egg Shocking • Pre-smolt planting • Un Fed Fry Planting • Smolt Release • Tank washing/painting • Fish Grading • Fish Pass Cleaning • Fish Trapping • Brood Sorting • Fish releases • Data Management: • Plant Maintenance • Maintenance of Buildings and Grounds. • Visitor Centre • General Management of the Hatchery (Utility Bills, Vermin Control etc) • Fish Health Surveillance (including fortnightly Fish Veterinary Service in April/May and at any other occasion required • Main Intake screens cleaning • Environmental and Safety Documentation input and achieving ISO Certification • Meet Fish Targets (numbers and density) • Comply with Biology Requirements • Assist with ESB’s Eel Trap and Transport Initiative • Assist with ESB’s Elver Monitoring and Transportation Protocols • Assist with Project Management of River Sustainability Contractors • Assist with Electro-Fishing of local rivers upon request by ESB Fisheries Conservation • Assist with ESB’s Salmon Genetics Sampling Requirements • Assist with ESB’s Sustainable Rivers Strategy upon request by ESB • Any other Services as required by ESB to assist in the operation of it’s Fisheries and Sustainable Rivers Strategy as they arise.
