Regarding the traditional wooden sash windows, the works include: • Careful removal of sashes where necessary, • Overhaul and repair of boxes, cords, pulleys, weights, and ironmongery, • Repair or splicing of decayed timber using matching timber species, • Reglazing and draught proofing where appropriate, • Painting and finishing, • Protection of adjacent finishes and fittings, • Full reinstatement on completion.
