- The project comprises the refurbishment of existing bathrooms, showers, and WC facilities in the Nurses’ Home (West Block), Rotunda Hospital. Works include: Demolition and removal of existing sanitary ware, partitions, cubicles, showers, baths, WHBs, risers, ceilings and finishes. Installation of new level-access showers, wall-hung WCs, wash hand basins, IPS panels, sanitary fittings, and associated pipework. Provision of new Altro Aquarius R11 non-slip flooring, Whiterock finishes, and suspended ceilings with moisture-resistant tiles. Mechanical works including new hot/cold pipework, isolation valves, drainage, ventilation fans and connections to existing services. Electrical works including replacement of light fittings with IP-rated LED, testing and commissioning. Fire-stopping to risers and penetrations. General builder’s work, access and protection in a live acute hospital environment. Part M compliant level-access showers and sanitary fittings All works are to be carried out to current Building Regulations, HBN/HTM guidance, and infection control standards
