Description:
Iarnród Éireann Traction system is designed for distribution of 1500VDC power supply, derived from 38kVAC ESB supply by means of transformer rectifier arrangements which provides supply for 53 km of Track (48 km of Double Track and 8 km of Single track). Traction power supply for the entire DART network is maintained and controlled by means of 13 Traction Power Substations (TPSs) and 7 Track Paralleling Huts (TPHs) which is distributed between Malahide and Greystones. Most of the Traction substation have two outgoing feeders of 38kV supply available to meet 100 per cent redundancy except for Portmarnock TPS and Bray TPS. The DART power supply system consists of 3 Types of traction electrical power distribution and associated electrical equipment depending upon their time of erection. We are seeking engagement form the Market to partake in a Preliminary Market Consultation.
