The programme will match up the knowledge, skills, insights and entrepreneurial capability of experienced business practitioners / mentors with small business owner / managers and with social enterprise managers / directors who need practical and strategic one-to-one advice and guidance. The mentor contributes independent, informed observation and advice to aid decision-making to owner / managers / directors to help them tackle issues effectively and enable them to deal with future business challenges while also developing their skills and capabilities. Mentors can provide support on specific areas of the business plan so as to identify, improve, develop and implement novel and innovative solutions to develop, sustain, scale up and adapt business processes or operational models in order to improve business development and growth potential. Údarás na Gaeltachta development executives liaise directly with each client to identify the mentoring support required and to advise them of the best supports available to them and assist them in their application.
