- Description:
- The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board (IHRB) is the Regulatory Body for horse racing in Ireland, which is a €2.5 billion industry supporting over 30,000 jobs. The IHRB is responsible for safeguarding the integrity and reputation of Irish horseracing and enforcement of the Rules of Racing and Irish National Hunt Steeplechase Rules. Further information on the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board and its functions can be found on www.ihrb.ie . The Contracting Authority reserves the right to use this framework for any other business venture or industry body in which it is involved. The IHRB manages the integrity of Irish horse racing at all licenced racecourses, at Point to Points (P2P), along with the licencing and integrity of industry participants which includes carrying out stable yard inspections and out of competition testing. The IHRB is seeking a third party provider for the provision of an IT solution to manage these functions. For detailed specification please refer to the attached documents.
