- Operation and Management of Family Hub (Family Temporary Supported Accommodation Facility) in Navan, Co.Meath. Meath County Council is committed to providing suitable accommodation to families with children who have lost their tenancy in the private rental sector. Family hubs are an important first response for families who become homeless and who have no alternative other than Emergency Accommodation. The hub will provide more appropriate and suitable transitional accommodation for a number of families. The hub is not a long term housing solution and the placed families will move into housing and apartment units that will be provided under social housing supports, with the aim of the placed families progressing as soon as possible from the family hub to private rented accommodation via Housing Assistance Payment scheme. This type of emergency accommodation provides a secure and stable placement for families as an interim measure. Service to be provided: Provide Furnishings including but not limited to beds, soft furnishings, white goods where required, tables , chairs kitchen equipment, dining utensils and living room furnishings: Currently the service is provided across 3 buildings Building 1 - 5 units with on site support provided 24 hrs a day Building 2 - 3 units with visiting support provided - daily/weekly support Building 3 - 1 unit with visiting support provided.- Daily/weekly support Operations: This family hub provides self contained accommodation and communal recreation space for children. Other supports will also be available for families as they move on to other housing options, when they become available. Responsibility: The Tenderer will be responsible for the onsite operation and day to day management of the facility and supporting families to identify their exit from homelessness and support them to move on from the service
