Academic and healthcare personal assistants (“personal assistant”, or “PA”) are required to enable students with disabilities to participate fully in all aspects of college life at Dublin City University. This includes, but is not limited to, participation in lectures, tutorials, laboratories, field trips and work placement settings. •A minimum of five academic and healthcare personal assistants will be required throughout DCU's academic year. Additional resources may be required depending on the number of students requiring support. DCU will establish a framework agreement of up to three service providers with the capacity and capablitly to provide DCU with the required personnel.
