The scope of the ecological services contract includes for the ecological survey and assessment of hedgerows within County Tipperary, to include all of the following elements • Carry out field surveys of hedgerow within County Tipperary (Survey methodology should follow Foulkes et al (2013)) • Gather data on the composition, structure and function of the hedgerows • Identify rare or vulnerable species present • Identify Invasive species where present • Identify the main pressures on hedgerows within Tipperary • Map hedgerow surveys and create a GIS layer • Prepare a final survey report which will include recommendations for hedgerow management and/or enhancement Please note: The project (Phase 1) must be complete by the 20th of October 2024
