Description:
Beaumont Hospital intends to appoint a suitably-qualified and experienced contractor to a single-party framework agreement for the conduct of fit-out and refurbishment works to its suite of operating theatres over the forthcoming three years. The framework agreement shall be established following a competition for an initial contract, comprising fit-out works in Theatre #12. The scope of this initial contract is specified in Volume A (Works Requirements) of the issued invitation to tender documentation. Thereafter, the appointed framework member may be required to refurbish and fit-out further operating theatres as and when the need arises. It is envisioned that the scope of works required in each instance shall closely replicate the scope of works required in connection with the initial contract. It is emphasised that no guarantee is offered, nor should any such guarantee be inferred, regarding the award of any contract other than the initial contract under this framework agreement. Once the initial contract has been completed, the Contracting Authority shall be entitled to utilise its discretion in determining the frequency and scope of any further contract(s) to be awarded.
