- Specification of Requirements This is a request for tenders for the Provision of Services for Coordination and Commissioning of the Dunkettle Interchange Public Art Project in Cork. The core work of the Public Art Commissioner is to lead and direct a process to commission a new, permanent sculptural public artwork for The Dunkettle Interchange in Cork. Dunkettle Interchange Public Art Working Group wishes to procure the services of specialist public art consultant(s) for the purposes of developing the Dunkettle Interchange Public Art Project commission brief; promotion and communication of the commission opportunity, including public communications; procurement and assessment of proposals; convening and managing expert shortlisting and selection panels and other services, as may be required for the commissioning of world-class contemporary sculpture up to the award of contract for the commission. The successful applicant will report to and be directed by the Public Art Working Group. The Public Art Commissioner will be under the direction of and expected to work closely with the Dunkettle Interchange Public Art Project Working Group in directing, facilitating and managing the process. The Working Group comprises of representatives from Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), Cork City Council and Cork County Council.
