The Heritage Council now seeks suitably qualified researchers to undertake a thorough analysis of the Irish heritage sector in terms of its impact on the domestic economy. The analysis should: • Identify, outline and analyse the direct contribution through Gross Value Added (GVA) and employment in all segments of the heritage sector in Ireland . • Identify, outline and analyse the indirect multiplier impacts that arise through the activities simulated in the supply chains of those engaged directly in the Irish heritage sector • Identify, outline and analyse the induced economic impacts that arise through the activities supported in the wider economy when employees associated with the direct and indirect heritage activities spend their earnings on domestic goods and services . • Examine the ancillary contributions made by the heritage sector in the form of spillover impacts through tourism and rural and urban regeneration
