Dunguaire Castle a 16th-century tower house on the shores of Galway Bay is a significant cultural site. It is renowned for its medieval architecture and ties to Irish literature and culture. The castle is open for public tours from March to October, where visitors can access its Great Hall, kitchen, and bedrooms, providing insights into both its architectural significance and literary connections. Beyond tours, the castle hosts medieval banquets and various activities, making it a key destination for Galway visitors. A brief summary of requirements include: Tourism marketing, website management, shop operation, seasonal event and associated catering services, general maintenance and management of the castle. This is the first stage of this competitive procedure whereby any interested party may submit a response to questionnaire in order to be considered for inclusion on the next stage.
