Description:
The project involves the gathering, and compilation of ground investigation data to enable the planning, design and construction of the Kinvara Village Active Travel Scheme. This project will consist of the construction of a boardwalk adjacent to the northern side of the existing N67 and the associated civil works (i.e. footpath/kerb realignment, diversion of underground services, pavement works…). Part of this boardwalk may require structural support by means of a cantilever structure founded on piles. The Investigation provides for geophysical surveys, rotary coring, trial pitting, slit trenching, standpipes/piezometer installations and monitoring, in-situ testing, sampling, laboratory testing and preparation of a factual report in accordance with the Specification.
