Description:
Clare County Council (CCC) in partnership with the Clare Local Development Company, Failte Ireland, DRCD landowners and the local community wish to establish a Management Plan for the 18 Km Cliffs of Moher Coastal Walk. The Management plan must consider sustainable transport options including appropriate trailhead/car parking facilities and ancillary trail infrastructure. The plan must also identify technology solutions to support visitor management, wayfinding, and interpretation. It should be noted that the Cliffs of Moher Coastal Walk is located within the Cliffs of Moher Special Protection Area and therefore consideration for the protection of the sensitive habitats must be incorporated.
