- Cork City Council, in partnership with the NIAH, is carrying out a stocktake of no more than 770 structures, including structures in the NIAH Building Survey and/or structures on the RPS. The stocktake will capture the condition and status of each structure in a moment in time and describe changes to fabric and/or features, if any, since the structure was recorded by the NIAH and/or included on the RPS. The Cork City Built Heritage Stocktake is designed to help shape future policy on dereliction and vacancy in the historic built environment and to secure additional resources to assist custodians, owners and conservation professionals in the appropriate care and repair of the historic built environment. It is intended that the project, which will run for 60 calendar days, will begin on the 4th September 2023 and will be completed on the 3rd November 2023.
