- The remedial works that require to be carried out consist of the complete upgrade of the existing oil fired heating centre serving the main school building to a natural gas fired heating centre complete with wall mounted condensing gas boiler package, including twin wall stainless steel flue connection to the existing masonry chimney, stainless steel liner within the masonry chimney, low loss flow and return headers, provision of a natural gas supply to the heating centre from the Gas Networks Ireland Skid/meter position, including the provision of new circulating pumps, thermostatic and frost protection controls, control / isolation valves, air and dirt separators, pipework, pipework insulation, gas safety detection / isolation system including the associated electrical works, builders attendances, including the de-commissioning, disconnection and proper disposal of the redundant mechanical and electrical services, including the existing 2 number double skin PVC oil storage tank with a capacity of approx. 2,600 litres, etc.
