The role of the liability adjuster is to advise the City Council on the management of their liability claims. Settling authorities and authorisations are retained by Cork City Council. The advices are provided to Head of Claims and reports are made to the Head of Finance. Cork City Council The City Council will maintain the files and also record the reserve information on their bespoke claims management system. The adjuster has no clerical or administrative roles. The adjuster records changes on a review sheet which is processed by the Claims Department claims handlers.
