On the previous pricing schedule, Rev 2, some descriptions and specifications from RKD had been altered and highlighted in yellow for clarity. However this colour should have been green. These cells have now be changed to green on the attached pricing schedule, Rev 3. Note these cells are not for editing by Tenderers and are locked. Tenderers can ONLY edit cells in Yellow. | 2 | Tender Clarifications 03.10.24 | Tender Clarification 03.10.24.zip | Dear Tenderer, Please note that responses to queries received is to be uploaded to the Contract Document folder today. An Excel version of the Pricing Document Rev 1 will also be uploaded where Tenderers can now add any Alternative Products being put forward. Note Criteria C is still the main location to provide full details of the proposed change. In addition there will be an updated furniture schedule with some minor tweaks, as listed below, while 2 nr. new drawings will also be uploaded. Changes are as follows. LOT 1 - SCR1 - height changed to 450mm - SCR2 - removed (moved to Lot 4) LOT4 - SCR2 - added and height changed to 450mm LOT9 - TR3 – description updated to clarify 6no. of shelves needed per unit i.e. total is 140 x 6. - TR6 – slotted upright support system for TR3 shelves added (drawings updated to match same) The code in the schedule has been highlighted in yellow where a change has been made. Science North, Science West and Overall counts have been updated to match the above changes. Thank you. | EN |

Tenders due back Nov 7th at 12 noon. Question: Section B - Tenderer’s Quality and Environmental Considerations Proposal .Can you please clarify what is required in the below extract and what certification is acceptable ? How the environmental and legislative requirements in relation to Materials Used in Appendix 1: Requirements and Specifications will be met through the term of the Goods Contract including certification compliance with each delivery. Sample certification must be included in your response. These may be sent in as appendices. Response: Using the information provided in the RFT, as well as the material, environmental, and sustainability requirements outlined in the specification, sections 1.3 Environmental and Sustainable Requirements, demonstrate compliance with relevant environmental and legislative standards. As the criteria outlines, this should include: -A clear explanation of how the materials proposed for use in the Goods Contract will meet the specified environmental and legislative requirements throughout the contract term. -Certification demonstrating compliance with these standards to accompany each delivery, ensuring ongoing adherence to these requirements. -Sample certification documents included at the tender stage to provide proof of compliance with the environmental and legislative standards specified in the RFT and Supporting documents. | EN |
