MetroLink is a new/greenfield metro railway to be built and operated in an integrated manner to provide a high speed, high capacity, high frequency, modern and efficient public transport service for people travelling along the Swords/Airport to City Centre corridor in Dublin. The Project Delivery Partner Contract will be awarded in accordance with the provisions of the European Union (Award of Contracts by Utility Undertakings) Regulations 2016 (S.I. 286/2016). This Periodic Indicative Notice is made in contemplation of the anticipated launch of a procurement process for the appointment of a consultant pursuant to the Project Delivery Partner Contract. The Project Delivery Partner appointment shall manage the various MetroLink contracts, procured by Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), through providing, but not limited to, safety, project management, site supervision and contract administration professional services to suit each contract form. Additional information: IMPORTANT: 1) This PIN is not a call for competition and therefore no tender documents are available. 2) No competitive process will result from this advertisement; any future competitions will be subject to appropriate advertisement via the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) and on www.etenders.gov.ie. 3) The information contained in this PIN may be subject to change due to the impact of governance, assurance and regulatory changes. Insofar as is permitted by law, TII shall not be liable for any losses incurred by any party as a result of reliance on the information contained/linked herein. 4) Any expenditure, work or effort undertaken by organisations or service providers is a matter solely for themselves and costs will not be reimbursed. 5) Within one week of publication of the PIN, interested parties are requested to confirm via the eTenders messaging system their intention to complete the Market Consultation Questionnaire by confirming a designated representative, e-mail address and contact number from their firm. 6) Responses to the Market Consultation Questionnaire must be received by 13th September 2024 (12:00), via https://www.etenders.gov.ie/epps/pmc/viewPmc.do?resourceId=4185006 7) TII reserves the right to request some or all interested parties to provide further information either in writing or by way of one-to-one meetings. 8) Interested parties will not be prejudiced by any failure to register and participate in the future market consultations.
